Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning

Prevention is Better Than Cure

You don't drive your car until it breaks.  You put oil in the engine, fluid in the transmission, and air in the tires when needed.  Why? Two reasons, really:

  1. The time and money spent is a fraction of the cost of replacing an engine, transmission, or tires.
  2. The car runs better, saving you money as you drive.

The A/C unit in your home is exactly the same.  It will run more efficiently and longer when it receives regular Preventive Maintenance.

Did you know that the temperature difference between the air your A/C unit is taking in from your home and the chilled dry air it returns should be close to 20 Fº?  We call this the "Delta-T".  If the Delta-T of your unit is less than 20 Fº, it will be on for longer and will be working harder.  This costs you money and takes your unit quicker to that dreaded service call.

Many of the units we service have a Delta-T of 10 - 12 Fº and we are often able to correct that without the need of costly parts.  Of course, the secret is getting there in time, before the unit has suffered severe and/or irreparable damage.  That is why we offer two semi-annual services.  Think of them like the 15,000 mile and 30,000 mile services on your car.  They have a cost but in the long run, they save you from those unscheduled outages and large repair bills.

So if your A/C or heating has packed in or if you think it is time to install a high-efficiency unit to lower your electricity bills, don't do it before you have called us at 714-532-6274.  Our prices beat even those home improvement stores and our service is second to none.
